Born in Bracken County on April 20, 1932, to the late George Earl and Martha Mae Perkins Figgins, she was a retired elementary school teacher, a volunteer for the Harrison Memorial Hospital Gift Shop and a member of the Cynthiana Baptist Church, Goldenaires Senior Group, Sunrise Homemakers and Retired Teachers Association.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Lee King; and a great-grandson, Noah Lee King.She is survived by a son, Jesse Dean (Dawn) King of Tollesboro; two brothers, Robert Earl Figgins and W.O. (Roberta) Figgins, both of Bracken County; two grandchildren, Brittany Nicole (Donald) Henderson and Michael Lee King; two great-grandchildren, Hunter Lee King and Alexis Dawn King; and eight nephews, Gary, Ricky, Randy, John Mark, Edward, Tim, Terry and Jason; and a niece, Rhonda Kay.Services will be conducted 1 p.m., Friday at Ware Funeral Home by Rev. Patrick Whyte with visitation at 11 a.m.Burial will be in Battle Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandson, Michael and nephews, Gary, Ricky, Randy, Edward, Tim and Terry. PattersonLucy J. Patterson, 88, of Londonderry, passed away to be with her Lord at 10:23 a.m. Friday, March 24, 2017, in the Adena Regional Medical Center following an extended illness.She was born Feb. 26, 1929, in Ross County, to the late John T. and Helen M. Fink Smith.On Sept. 29, 1956, she married Gerald A. Patterson, who died Nov. 20, 1998.Surviving are children, Diane (Ronald) Allen, Beverly (Ronnie) Cochenour, Jeffrey (Trina) Patterson, Michael (Holly) Patterson, Rick (Marilyn) Patterson, all of Londonderry, Freda (Donald) Knisley of Richmond Dale and Janice Nelson of Columbus; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Helen Rhoads of Williamsport; and many nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by an infant son, John W. Martin; daughter, Judith Julian; brothers, Donald and Eugene Smith; and a special friend, Marjorie Seymour.Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, in the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Rev. SeeligTracy Jo (Smith) Seelig, 55, of Chillicothe, passed away 5 a.m. Monday, Feb. 6, 2017, at Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness.She was born July 20, 1961, in Cincinnati, to the late John S. and Joan Cotton Smith.She was married to John T. Seelig, who survives. Also surviving are a son and caregiver, John W. Rawlins; two grandchildren, Johnathon and Austin Rawlins; brothers, Steve and (Jane) Graham of Tarlton, Rocky Smith and John (Starla) Smith, all of Chillicothe; sisters, Becky (John) Rawlins of Chillicothe and Anna (Michael) Knapp; many nieces and nephews; good friends, Kathy Miller and Tammy Lindsey; and her animals she loved dearly, Rachel and Snowflake.She was predeceased by her grandparents, Sam and Meda Smith and Jim and Mandy Cotton; brother, Danny Graham; sister, Teresa Magill; a nephew, Rob Warner; four aunts and two uncles.Tracy was an avid animal lover.Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017, at the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Rev. Mike Denny officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
